In accordance with the Training
Globalization Policy, students at Université
Laval are encouraged to think internationally. The
presence of foreign
students and professors, the possibility of overseas
work-study programs, and the international experience
of professors provide a great introduction to
globalization. In addition, we offer programs
with an international flavor, notably a Master's
degree in International Relations, a Master's
degree in Business Administration with an
international option, a Diploma
in Integrated Rural Development and a Diploma
in International Journalism.
Numerous in-house activities aim to foster an
acceptance in the Université Laval community of
intercultural differences and a sense of sharing with
developing countries. The International
Office at Université Laval is responsible for
organizing all activities of an international nature.

Lastly, the School
of Modern Languages is a school unlike any other in
North America. Every year, the French program for
nonfrancophones attracts over 2,000 students, not only
from across Canada, but also from the United States,
Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
