Quebec City, November 5th 2001 - Lion Jean Bouchard, blind athlete, and his accompanists of the Motor Adaptation Foundation will start, June 8th 2003, the Crossing of Canada on a tandem-bicycle to collect funds so that 100 handicapped delegates may participate to the 21st Rehabilitation International World Congress held in Quebec City in 2008.
Moreover, Lion Jean Bouchard, who is a living example of social integration, will travel through Canada over a three month period. From Victoria to Halifax, he will pedal approximately 7,000 km. He will stop in 60 cities where he will make a bicycle tour of the town with the Lions Clubs and local cyclist clubs to encourage people to give generously.
