Applicants currently enrolled at Université Laval

  • In some situations, the Registrar’s Office may later request a copy of your birth certificate.

  • Résumé, description of work/life experience, letter of interest, and research proposal, as described in the program description.

  • If you have not submitted these documents as part of a previous application for admission: Transcript(s) from other universities you have attended
    Note: If you attended an educational institution in Québec, Canada, or the U.S., have your transcript sent directly from the school in a sealed envelope. When submitting your application, it is advisable to include a legible photocopy of your transcript(s). Official transcripts are still required.

  • Three copies of the Report on the Applicant: If you are applying for a doctoral program, have three of your professors or employers complete and submit the Report on the Applicant. If you are applying for a master’s program, you are only required to provide the Report on the Applicant if specifically stated in the program description.
 

 

Applicants who previously attended Université Laval

  • And registered within the past 5 years:

  • Official copies of diplomas or degree certificates, once awarded, or official transcripts showing the name of the diploma received.

Canadian applicants born outside Québec or outside Canada

  • A duly completed copy of the form Additional Information for Permanent Code (REG-180a-AD) (PDF) for attribution of your permanent code.

  • Transcripts from your university studies or additional studies undertaken after completing your pre-university education.
