ANG-8103 Doctoral Exam II: Secondary Field Retrospective

The comprehensive examination allows the student to study a corpus and to develop a knowledge base that are different from the dissertation corpus and area of specialization. This other corpus is chosen by the student according to the fields of expertise of the professors in the program and the available resources at the time. The objective of this exam is to assess the student's abilities to study another corpus or theme, and to develop a second field of expertise. Finally, this examination evaluates the student's capacity to communicate in both written and oral forms what has been studied during the preparatory phase of the examination (3rd semester).
