    MDD-2209 ACCES soins dentaires

    Ce cours initie l'étudiant aux enjeux de l'accès aux soins dentaires de clientèles marginalisées, en raison de particularités soit physiques, psychologiques ou socio-économiques. Le cours est composé de 2 volets. Le volet théorique comporte une introduction aux populations marginalisées, l'expérience vécue des personnes désaffiliées, la gestion de la carie profonde et multiple, de même que des notions de médecine narrative. Le volet pratique initie l'étudiant aux traitements prodigués à certaines clientèles démunies financièrement, en situation de handicap ou à risque élevé de carie dentaire dans le contexte d'une clinique de soins multidisciplinaires de première ligne.
