Mandatory orientation and information sessions
At the start of the fall and winter semesters, new students at Université Laval must register for a half-day orientation.
The orientation starts with an information session on important topics like course structure, digital tools, transportation, and insurance.
The information session is followed by a guided tour of the campus to help you learn your way around your new school and find important services. Guided tours are on foot and take place rain or shine. Make sure to dress appropriately.

How to register
- Choose one of the half-day orientation sessions.
- Click on the link for the time that works best for you.
- Add a ticket to your cart, then click “Proceed to Checkout.”
- Fill out the form and enter your email address. A confirmation email with instructions for the session will be sent to that address.
