Université Laval honorary doctorates

The doctorate honoris causa—the highest distinction awarded by Université Laval—is an exceptional mark of recognition. Honorary doctorates are presented to people whose accomplishments are considered remarkable and exemplary in one of the University’s spheres of activity. Recipients hail from academic circles and from civil society in Québec, across Canada, and around the world.
