Nicolas Gagnon

Deputy Vice Rector, Infrastructure and Transformation and Chief Information Officer

Nicolas Gagnon has held leadership roles in university administration since 2005, notably as director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, project manager in information technology, and executive sponsor of large-scale technological initiatives. He holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy (EdD) from the University of British Columbia, as well as a master’s degree in Educational Technology from Université Laval. His teaching and research interests include communities of practice, online learning, user experience design, knowledge management, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on teaching practices in higher education.
