Canadian students (non-Québec residents)

There are two components for the tuition fees of Canadian students (non-Québec residents):

• General tuition applicable to Québec students
• Additional fees for undergraduate and master’s students, as required by Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur.

Fee waiver for Canadian students

If one of the following cases applies to you, the fees applicable to Canadian students from outside Québec will automatically be waived.

Doctoral students

• Students in doctoral programs are exempt.
• Students who are enrolled in doctoral studies not leading to a doctorate and who are considered to be Québec residents are exempt.

Exemptions for French courses

Canadian students from outside Québec who are enrolled in a French course recognized by Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur will have their fees waived for that course only. See the list of French courses eligible for the waiver.
