Continuing research: registration and invoicing

Since May 2009, the flat-rate tuition plan changed its name to Poursuite de la recherche 1 and 2 (Continuing Research 1 and 2). Students enrolled in continuing research retain full-time status, but must have paid for all prior research credits set by their program before they can register for Poursuite de la recherche 1. Tuition and other fees remain the same: $108 for the first semester of a master’s with thesis program and the first two semesters of a PhD, and $334 for Poursuite de la recherche 2. Institutional fees are calculated based on 12 credits.

Students in a master’s with thesis program can enrol in Poursuite de la recherche 2 for up to 4 semesters, and up to 5 semesters for a PhD. However, students who wish to pursue their research beyond these periods must get authorization from their program director and research supervisor.
