Elucidation of the relationship between ethics, morality, deontology, and law. Study of the central concepts of theological tradition in Christian ethics: conscience, natural law, moral and theological virtues, sin, and the question of evil. Familiarization with the discipline of theological ethics, of its history, its methodologies, and its pertinence. Reflection on the formation of morals in the Church and the challenges to find the relevance of a public discussion of Christian ethics in a pluralistic society.
