Distance learning continues until May 1st

The Government of Quebec announced today that online higher education activities can continue. At Université Laval, this announcement means that all courses for the winter session will have to be completed remotely or online, as planned.

Consult the list of essential services as set out by the government.

Our professors and lecturers have already been working hard for several days to ensure this transition. Thank you all for your ingenuity and dedication!

The support services are there for you!

During this difficult period, our students need support and advice. This is why, even though their offices are closed, many support services continue their activities. The Centre d'aide aux étudiants (psychological support), the Bureau des bourses et de l'aide financière, the Bureau de la vie étudiante (foreign students), and the Service de placement de l'Université Laval offer valuable services over the phone and online. Full details can be found in the Student Support section of the COVID-19 page.

Working remotely continues until May 1st.

Our employees who are able to do so must continue to work from home until May 1st.

We are aware that the work habits of our employees can affect them physically and psychologically. For help and support.
Access to the campus pavilions will continue to be restricted to authorized persons only, in order to ensure essential services.

More "critical" phase

We understand that all these restrictive measures that persist over time are very restrictive. But as Premier Legault has indicated, Quebec is entering a new and "more critical" stage in the spread of COVID-19. This is why we urge you to respect the instructions of the Direction de la santé publique. It is all our efforts, pooled together, that will make it possible to curb this pandemic. A huge thank you for your solidarity and collaboration.
