Day of parution

March 17, 2020 à 5h15 p.m.

To the entire university community,

Graduation

We are sorry to announce the postponement of the Convocation Ceremonies scheduled for June 2020 for our graduates. The measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 prompted us to make this decision.

Rest assured that the success of our students continues to make us proud. Official diplomas will be mailed out and the success of the graduates will be recognized at a later date.

International mobility

We are also announcing that Université Laval is suspending all incoming and outgoing student mobility until July 31, 2020. We invite you to visit the COVID-19 website for more information. As a result, all international internships for the spring and summer of 2020 are cancelled and the reception of any guest from outside Canada is prohibited until July 31, 2020.

Access to the buildings

We remind you that access to the pavilions on our campus is restricted to authorized persons only. Those who would need to retrieve personal belongings have until Wednesday, March 18 to do so, making sure that the time spent in a building is minimal.

Acknowledgements

Finally, we would like to warmly thank all our employees, who are showing flexibility and openness in these troubled times. We wholeheartedly believe that our primary mission is to enable our students to complete their university term in compliance with the health guidelines issued by the Public Health Department. Your efforts in this regard deserve to be commended.
