Official documents - electronic version

In order to limit the risk of counterfeiting, the Secretary General's Office of Université Laval does not use official seals nor handwritten signatures when issuing official documents in electronic format.

In order to digitally sign its official documents and thus certify their origin, authenticity and integrity, the Secretary General's Office uses ConsignO Cloud from Portage CyberTech (previously Notarius). Portage CyberTech is the result of a merger of companies that have been transforming the North American digital landscape for 30 years. Becker-Carroll, Vivvo, Notarius, 1CRM, and OPIN Digital are now united under one banner.

Documents signed with ConsignO Cloud are immediately recognized by Adobe, without any configuration. In addition, the authenticity and integrity of issued documents can be verified online at any time and by anyone using Notarius' Verifio service.
