ULaval Institutional Plan 2023-2028

A collective impact

Ever since releasing the ULaval Institutional Plan 2023–2028: Working Together to Boost our Impact, Université Laval has been embarking on an ambitious journey. The goal? Transform our practices and strengthen our leadership to meet major challenges for the benefit of society.

Now that we are at the halfway point, our community’s momentum is clear. While times are hard for all Québec universities, our plan is on track, and we are determined to keep working hard to ensure that it guides us to our next destination.

Concrete projects in high-impact initiatives

We asked our community to submit inspiring projects, and the response was incredible. The initiatives’ teams received and evaluated submissions for more than 400 projects that align with the plan’s success factors and respond to emerging challenges

Citizen involvement

Knowledge, science, and society

“The Carrefour d’engagement université-société project was born of Université Laval’s desire to play a greater role in addressing the major challenges of our time. As a high-impact university with recognized leadership and a longstanding tradition of social commitment, we want to facilitate and simplify the dialogue between society and our university community by honouring the diversity of scientific, experiential, concrete, and Indigenous ancestral knowledge. By working together and creating a space for discussion and co-creation, we are aiming to improve our collective ability to come up with relevant, sustainable solutions for society.”
