Community Liaison Office
The Community Liaison Office aims to mobilize Université Laval’s research community through the management and protection of intellectual property and the transfer and mobilization of knowledge.
Legal agreements
- Negotiation and drafting of various agreements, contracts, and understandings (confidentiality agreements, material transfers, etc.) between Université Laval and its private and public sector partners
Intellectual property
- Protection and management of intellectual property
- Negotiation of user and commercial licences between Université Laval and its partners
Commercialization and mobilization of knowledge
- Support for researchers at all stages of commercialization of inventions or works
- Support for the transfer of knowledge and technology to society in partnership with Axelys, UL’s research commercialization corporation
- Networking between researchers and community partners
- Managing the social innovation fund
