The Executive Vice Rector oversees the daily operation of the university. His tasks include:

• Implementing Executive Committee decisions
• Applying policies established by the Board of Directors and the University Council
• Supporting and coordinating relations between the university and its alumni with the help of the Université Laval Alumni Association and Fondation de l’Université Laval
